How can I connect my existing domain to Payhip?

On the Domains page, click the " Connect Existing Domain" button to connect your domain to your Payhip store.

A pop-up will appear asking you to log in to your DNS provider first as you are required to set up either an A record (for the root domain) or a CNAME record (for a subdomain). The step-by-step instructions for setting up your store with popular DNS providers are provided here.

Does Payhip generate the SSL certificates for me?

Yes, Payhip automatically generates the SSL certificate for you when you connect your domain. The main function of SSL certificates is to allow a website to move from HTTP to HTTPS, making it more secure. Without SSL certificates, popular search engines such as Google will flag your website as “Not Secure” and your ranking online will be harmed as a result.
