Update or Change Your Card on File

If you’re currently subscribed to a membership or recurring payment, you may occasionally need to update your card. This can happen if your card has expired, been replaced, or is no longer active. The good news is that you can easily update your payment details in your customer account.

In this article, we'll walk through the steps to update your payment details so your subscription can continue without interruption.

How to update your payment details

To update your card details, you'll need to log into the account you created at the seller's store. To do this, visit the seller's store and click the person icon in the top-right corner. This will take you directly to the login page.

  1. On the login page, enter the email address and password you used when you made the purchase.
  2. If you've forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password link to reset it.
  3. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  4. Select Settings and navigate to the Card page.
  5. Update or replace your card details and save your changes.

Once saved, all future subscription payments will be charged to the new card automatically.

If you're logged in as the seller

If you are the store owner and are currently logged in as the seller, you can switch to customer mode. Once there, click your profile icon in the top-right corner, go to Settings, and find the card to update the payment details linked to your subscription.

If you received a payment retry email 

If a payment failed, you may receive an email asking you to update your card. Simply click the Visit this page link in the email and update your card before the system attempts to charge the subscription again.

Frequently Asked Questions

My subscription was cancelled. Can I resubscribe at the discounted price?

If the subscription was originally purchased at a discounted price through a promotion, that price may no longer be available if the promotion has ended.

For this, it's best to contact the seller directly and ask if they can provide a coupon or special link for you to use when resubscribing. You can usually find the seller's contact information in the Email Receipt you received or on the contact page of their store.

Can you charge my card immediately?

Subscription payments are processed automatically according to the billing schedule set by the seller. If a payment failed previously, the system will attempt to charge the card again at the next scheduled retry.

Can I switch between monthly and annual subscriptions?

Switching between subscription plans is usually possible, but there are a few things to keep in mind. We currently do not automatically pro-rate subscription changes. Because of this, you will typically need to cancel your current subscription before subscribing to a different plan.
For example, if you are switching from an annual plan to a monthly plan, it's usually best to wait until your current billing period ends so you don’t lose any time you've already paid for. If you are switching from monthly to annual, you can cancel your current plan and subscribe to the annual option at any time.

I need to pause my subscription instead. Can I do that?

Pausing a subscription isn't something that can be done directly from your account at this time. However, you can reach out to the seller to ask if they can handle it on their end.
