It is one of the world's leading payment gateways for eCommerce, with support for 100+ currencies across 200+ markets, it's a powerful, unified payment solution for your business. You can accept PayPal payments, credit cards, and debit cards. Your customers will be directed to PayPal when making a payment on your online store.
Which countries is PayPal available in?
PayPal is currently supported in over 200 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxemburg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.
If you're based in the countries listed above, you can connect either a personal or business PayPal account to your Payhip store. For all other countries on PayPal's supported list, you must have a business PayPal account.
What are the payment methods available on PayPal?
PayPal supports a variety of payment methods, including PayPal balance payments, credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as debit cards and bank account payments where available. It also offers a wide range of local and alternative payment methods such as iDeal (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), BLIK (Poland), eps (Austria), giropay (Germany), Multibanco (Portugal), MyBank (Italy), and Przelewy24 (Poland).
Availability of specific payment methods may vary by country, so certain options might not be offered in all supported locations.
PayPal fees - how much money does PayPal take per transaction?

The standard credit and debit card payment fee is 2.99% + a fixed fee per transaction, which varies according to the transaction currency. An additional 1.5% applies to international commercial transactions. Note that these fees are collected by PayPal and do not go to Payhip.
How to connect PayPal to your eCommerce store
To start selling online, make sure you've signed up for a free Payhip account. In your Payhip dashboard, go to Account → Settings → Payment Details. You'll see a list of payment gateways available in your region, including PayPal (if it's available to you).
Click Connect and you'll be asked to enter your PayPal email address and click Continue.
In the next step, you'll be prompted to verify your PayPal email address. Click Confirm PayPal Account.
You'll be redirected to PayPal to confirm your email address and location, then click Next.
If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to log in on the next screen.
Once you're logged in, click Agree and Connect.
Next, click Go Back to Payhip Limited.
That's it! You've successfully integrated PayPal to your Payhip store.
If you don't have a PayPal account yet
If you don't have a PayPal account, follow the same steps above. Once redirected to PayPal, the system will detect that your email isn't registered and prompt you to create a free account. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to set up your new PayPal account.

How do I get my payouts from PayPal?
By default, PayPal withdrawals need to be manually initiated. You'll find some instructions for withdrawing from PayPal here: How do I get money out of my PayPal account?
To enable automatic payouts, you'll want to switch on auto transfers (available for Premier/Business accounts only). You have the option to set the automatic payout frequency to daily, biweekly, weekly, bimonthly, or monthly.
Note that if this is your first transaction via PayPal on Payhip, it will go through an automatic approval process that may delay your payout. Once approved, all future payments will be sent instantly to your PayPal account.
What will my customers see at checkouts?
Once your PayPal account is connected to Payhip, customers visiting your storefront will see the PayPal button at checkout. They'll then be redirected to PayPal to complete the purchase using their preferred payment method.
