Embed Code on Your Payhip Store

Using the Payhip store builder, you can easily embed a block of code (HTML or Javascript) on your store pages. This allows you to add all kinds of things to your store. 

Below are just a few examples of the many possibilities you can explore to enhance your store's functionality and improve the customer experience.

1. Email Signup Form - Give your customers the option to join your mailing list by incorporating an email signup form. (Learn more about building a mailing list here.)
2. Countdown Timer - Create a sense of urgency on your sales page

Please note that to use this feature, you will need to be using a custom domain for your store (e.g. yourstorename.com rather than payhip.com). You can find instructions on how to set up a custom domain here.

The Embed Code Section

You can add your embed code to your Payhip store in two quick steps:

Step 1. Get the embed code

First, get the embed code for what you want to add to your store. There are tools out there for basically anything you can think of - simply search the web for whatever you’re looking for.

It's worth noting that most widget creators function in a similar way. You'll receive a code that enables you to easily embed their widgets into your website or platform of choice.

Step 2. Add the code to your store

Here’s how to paste in your code:

1. Log into your Payhip account.
2. Launch the store builder by going to Store in the top navigation bar, then clicking Launch Your Store Builder (or by clicking Account > Store Builder).
3. Navigate to the page that you want to add the code to.
4. Click Add section and scroll down to Embed Code.



5. Select the only option on the right-hand side.
6. Paste your code into the Embed Code field.
7. Publish your changes.

Embedded code cannot be previewed in the store builder, so you’ll want to visit your live store to see your widget in action.
