Collections

Collections allow your customers to buy your products based on categories easily. You might have a particular group of products that naturally fit together, and it could make a lot of sense to display them as a collection on your store page, making shopping easier for your customers.

In this article:

How do I add a collection?

To add a collection, click on Products at the top of the screen. On the next page, you’ll see a Collections button at the top right corner of the products list. Click on that button, and you’ll be taken to the collections page.

On the collections page, click on the Add new collection button.

You’ll see a list of all your products with the checkboxes next to them. You can assign particular products to that collection by clicking on the checkboxes. Once you’re done choosing, click on the Add Collection button, and the changes will be saved.

Please note that Collections also define what shows up in the Related Products section on a product page. You can edit the appearance of this section in the store builder.

How do I hide a collection?

To hide a collection, navigate to your Collections page and click the "..." button. Select the option to hide it from your store. A hidden tag will then appear next to the collection name, indicating which collections are visible and which are hidden.

How do I edit a collection?

On the collection page, click the collection you want to edit. To associate products with a collection, check the boxes next to the product names you want to add. To remove products, uncheck the boxes next to the ones you want to exclude from the collection.

After making your changes, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page for the edits to apply.

Advanced options

You'll find a couple of different things in the Advanced options section:

  • Customise the collection page URL - By default Payhip will use the name of the collection to create a URL for the page. You can update that if you'd like to here.
  • Edit collection page SEO description - Update the description that shows up in search results for your collection page.
