Resolve Mercado Pago Errors as a Seller
If you’re using Mercado Pago with Payhip, you may encounter problems such as payments not appearing, checkout errors, or the payment method not showing for customers.

Common Mercado Pago issues
1. Mercado Pago doesn't appear at checkout
If Mercado Pago is not showing as a payment option for your customers, the most common reason is the store's currency.
Mercado Pago only supports certain local currencies, including MXN, ARS, BRL, CLP, COP, PEN, and UYU. If your store currency is set to USD, Mercado Pago will not appear at checkout.
How to resolve: You will need to switch your store currency to one of the supported currencies. Otherwise, only payment methods you've connected to your store that support USD, such as PayPal, will be available to your customers.
2. I haven't received my payments in Mercado Pago
If you are not seeing payments in your Mercado Pago account, first check whether any filters are enabled in your dashboard, as filters can sometimes hide certain transactions.
How to resolve: Please review and adjust your filters to ensure you are viewing all transactions. If the payments still do not appear, please contact our support team at contact@payhip.com so we can help investigate. We may ask for the customer's email address to help locate the purchase.
3. You're currently in test mode
If you encounter issues connecting Mercado Pago to Payhip, you may be using the test credentials instead.

4. The purchase can't be completed
If a customer receives a similar error message (e.g., error code: CPXXX-5FOI3XK9950I), it usually means that Mercado Pago was unable to process the payment. Please note that the error code may vary and does not have to be this specific one.
How to resolve: Since this error originates from Mercado Pago, you will need to contact their support team directly so they can investigate the transaction.
