Campaign Monitor
Campaign Monitor is among the email service providers you can integrate with Payhip. Once you have linked it, you can effortlessly subscribe customers to your mailing list after every successful purchase.
In this step-by-step guide, we'll walk you through the process of connecting your Campaign Monitor account with Payhip.
Step 1: Access your Campaign Monitor Account
First, please visit the Campaign Monitor website and look for the Log In link at the top right of the page. Enter your email and password, and then click the "Log In" button to access your account.
If you're not a Campaign Monitor member yet, you can sign up via their registration page where you'll need to provide your name, email, and password. After successfully registering, you'll be automatically logged in to your new Campaign Monitor account.
Step 2: Generate your API Key
After completing the first step, you're ready to generate your API key in Campaign Monitor.
To do that, begin by clicking on your profile image at the top right of your dashboard. From there, select "Account settings" from the dropdown menu. Once you're in your Account settings, navigate to the "API keys" section and click on the "Generate API key" option if you haven't created an API key yet.
Step 3: Connect Campaign Monitor to Payhip
The next step begins with accessing your Payhip account settings. Start by navigating to the Marketing Page, where you'll find the "Mailing Lists" tab. Click on the "Setup Mailing Lists" button to get started. Among the options presented, choose Campaign Monitor as your email provider. It's important to have the API key ready from the previous step, as you'll be prompted to enter it during this setup.
Please double-check that the information you've copied is accurate before clicking the "Save Details" button to proceed. This will ensure a smooth integration process with Campaign Monitor.
Step 4: Set up your mailing lists
When it comes to creating mailing lists, this can be done within your Campaign Monitor account, specifically the "Lists & Subscribers" tab. These lists serve as a means to organize your subscribers effectively. The lists you create will subsequently be accessible as mailing options within Payhip, simplifying the process of managing your subscribers and conducting campaigns.
Once you've set up your mailing lists, the next task is to associate them with your products on Payhip. When editing a product, you can easily enable the "Automatically subscribe customers to a mailing list" setting found within the Advanced Options. This guarantees the inclusion of customers into the selected mailing list once they have completed a successful purchase.
Step 5: Verify the Integration
It is advisable to perform a test purchase to validate the connection between Campaign Monitor and Payhip. This step ensures that customers are effectively and automatically added to the mailing list when they finalize their purchase.
