AWeber

AWeber is an email marketing platform catering to the needs of online creators and entrepreneurs. The integration of AWeber with Payhip simplifies the task of effortlessly and automatically adding customers to your email marketing list immediately after they make a purchase.

This guide will walk you through the steps to connect AWeber with Payhip.

Step 1: Connect Aweber to Payhip

In order to establish a connection between AWeber and Payhip, navigate to your Marketing Page within Payhip. From there, select "Setup mailing lists," and when prompted to choose your email service provider, opt for AWeber. This selection will take you to an authorization page, initiating Step 2 of the process.

Step 2: Login to AWeber to allow OAuth Access

When you hit the "Save Details" button, you will be directed to the AWeber authorization page. On this page, you will need to provide your login credentials, which consist of your email address used to create your AWeber account and your password. Once you have entered this information, finalize the process by clicking "Allow access" to activate the integration.

Step 3: Set up your mailing lists

To begin, create a mailing list in Aweber, referred to as "Lists."

Once you have completed this step, you can enable the “Automatically subscribe customers to mailing list” setting for each product. Activating this will allow you to associate each product with a specific mailing list.

Please make sure to click the "Save Changes" button located at the bottom of the page. This ensures that customers who make a purchase will be automatically included in your chosen mailing list.

If you need to create multiple lists, please note that you will need to upgrade to AWeber Plus.

Step 4: Verify the Integration

The last step is making a test purchase to verify if you have successfully connected AWeber to Payhip.

Please note that Aweber may have certain settings that could prevent your subscribers from being added to your mailing list. These configurations may be double opt-in requirements or the need for customer verification before they are added as subscribers.
