SendFox

SendFox is an email marketing platform made for entrepreneurs, content creators, and small businesses. Integrating SendFox with Payhip enables you to automatically subscribe customers to your mailing list after each purchase. 

This guide will walk you through the steps to establish this connection.

Step 1: Access your SendFox Account

To get started, you will need an active SendFox account. If you're already a SendFox user, you can just log in to your account. Otherwise, you can easily create an account with SendFox.

Step 2: Generate your API Key

To set up the connection between SendFox and Payhip, you'll need an API key that can be generated within SendFox.

First, access your account settings, which you can do by clicking the three horizontal lines located in the upper right corner of your dashboard. In the dropdown menu, select "Settings" which redirects you to your account settings page and the "API" tab.

From there, select the "Create New Token" button, and when prompted, name it "Payhip" as your Personal Access Token. SendFox will then generate a key for you automatically.

Please remember to copy the generated key before closing the window, as it won't be visible again once it's closed.

Step 3: Connect SendFox to Payhip

Now that you've acquired your API key, you can now integrate SendFox with Payhip. 

Start by logging into your Payhip dashboard and navigating to the Marketing page. Within the Marketing section, locate the Mailing Lists tab. There, you'll find a button labeled "Setup Mailing Lists." When you click this button, a modal window will pop up, asking you to pick your email service provider and input the API Key.

Step 4: Set up your mailing lists

Here's how you can set up your mailing lists in SendFox: First, create a mailing list (referred to as "Smart Pages"). Once you've created a smart page, we'll automatically retrieve it for you. It will be shown as one of the options you can select when enabling the "Automatic customer subscription to a mailing list" setting. 

This feature ensures that customers will be automatically enrolled in the specified mailing list after each successful transaction.

Step 5: Verify the Integration

Please consider conducting a test purchase to verify the integration. If the integration is successful, you'll see a notification on your Mailing Lists dashboard confirming the successful connection between Payhip and SendFox.
