MailerLite

MailerLite is a popular email marketing platform that most sellers use to manage their subscribers and email campaigns effectively. By integrating MailerLite with your Payhip account, you can automatically add customers to your mailing list following each purchase.

In this article, we will walk you through the steps to connect MailerLite with Payhip.

Step 1: Access your MailerLite Account

First, go to the MailerLite website and log in to your MailerLite account. If you don't have an account yet, then you can register one for free.

Step 2: Generate your API Key

The API key will allow Payhip to connect to your MailerLite account securely. In your MailerLite account, navigate to your " Integrations" page and look for the "MailerLite API" section.

Simply follow the prompts by clicking the "Generate new token" button and entering a token name. MailerLite will automatically provide an API key afterward.

Step 3: Connect MailerLite to Payhip

Make your way to the Marketing page on Payhip and access the Mailing Lists tab. From there, click on the "Setup Mailing Lists" button. This action will open a modal asking you to paste your API key and select your email service provider from the list.

Please note that MailerLite offers two account options based on when your account was created, which we'll explain below.

• MailerLite Classic: If your MailerLite account was created before March 22, 2022, please select the "MailerLite Classic" option.
• MailerLite: If your MailerLite account was created after March 22, 2022, please select the "MailerLite" option.

Step 4: Set up your mailing lists

Start by making a mailing list in MailerLite, which they refer to as " Groups." Once you've successfully created one, you can then activate the "Automatically subscribe customers to mailing list" option for each of your products. Enabling this option will give you a dropdown menu, allowing you to associate the product with a specific mailing list.

After making your selection, don't forget to confirm your changes by clicking the " Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page. This ensures that when a customer purchases this product, they will be added to the mailing list of your choice.

Step 5: Verify the Integration

To ensure a successful connection, consider making a test purchase to confirm that Payhip and MailerLite are working together seamlessly.
