Download a MOBI file on iOS or Android
If you've purchased a MOBI file and want to read it on your phone or tablet, the steps can vary slightly depending on your device and reading app. This guide will walk you through how to download and open MOBI files on both iOS and Android.
Download a MOBI file on iOS
MOBI files are not natively supported on iOS, so you'll need a compatible reading app.
- Open the link from your email receipt
- From there, click the Download button
- The file may open in your browser or download automatically
- Tap the Share icon
- Select Save to Files and choose a location
Once saved, open a reading app that supports MOBI files (such as Kindle or a third-party reader) and import the file from your Files app.
Download a MOBI file on Android
You will need a reading app that can open MOBI files on your devices. Once you have one or already installed, please follow the steps
- Open the link from your email receipt
- From there, click the Download button
- Open your ebook reader (e.g., FBReader)
- Import the file from your Files or File Manager
- Tap the file to open it and start reading
