You can connect PayTabs to your Payhip store to accept payments for selling digital products online.

Which countries is PayTabs available in?

PayTabs supports countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, including Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

What are the payment methods available on PayTabs?

PayTabs supports most major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Mada, UnionPay, Maestro, as well as digital wallets like Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, STC Pay, UrPay, and PayPal.

PayTabs also offers a wide range of local and alternative payment methods including valu, aman, meezaqr, omannet, knet, knetdebit, knetcredit, forsa, halan, tamara, souhoola, tabby, touchpoints, sadad, and tru.

Note that availability of specific payment methods may vary by country, so certain options might not be offered in all supported locations.

PayTabs fees - how much money does PayTabs take per transaction?

The standard PayTabs fee for online transactions starts from 2.25% per transaction. Fees vary by payment methods, and there might be a monthly or setup fee depending on your region. Please check PayTabs's pricing page for the latest updates. Note that these fees are collected by PayTabs and do not go to Payhip.

How to connect PayTabs to your eCommerce store

To start selling online, make sure you've signed up for a free Payhip account.

In your Payhip dashboard, go to Account → Settings → Payment Details. You'll see a list of payment gateways available in your region, including PayTabs (if it's available to you). If you don't see the option, click See All Payment Options to see the full list of supported payment gateways.

Note that the default currency that you set on your Payhip account must match the currency on your PayTabs account.

Click Connect and you'll be presented with the screen where you can add your Profile ID and Server Key.

To find this information please take the following steps on your PayTabs account:

1) Login to your PayTabs account

2) Go to Developers → API Keys →Key Management

3) Click the (+) icon to generate new API keys. Now you can copy the Server Key, and paste them into the corresponding fields on your Payhip dashboard.

4) Separately, go to the Profile tab from the left navigation bar, copy the Profile ID, and paste it into the corresponding fields on your Payhip dashboard.

After you've submitted the above information on your Payhip account you'll be shown a confirmation that PayTabs was successfully connected.

That's it! You've successfully integrated PayTabs to your Payhip store.

If you don't have a PayTabs account yet, there is a link to create a new PayTabs account for free on your Payhip dashboard. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to set up your new PayTabs account.

How do I get my payouts from PayTabs?

PayTabs payments are processed instantly, so you receive funds immediately after each transaction. PayTabs payments work a little differently compared to Stripe or PayPal on Payhip. You will get your full payment (without Payhip fees deducted) instantly after each transaction has been processed. At the end of each month, you'll be billed for your Payhip fees using your preferred credit card.

What will my customers see at checkouts?

Once your PayTabs account is connected to Payhip, customers visiting your storefront will be redirected to PayTabs' interface at checkout where they can select their preferred payment methods. They do not need to have a PayTabs account to purchase, they can make payments with any payment methods of their choice (debit card, credit cards, etc).
