Connect your Square account

Introduction

Connect Square as a payment provider to accept card payments from your customers.

Requirements

• Square is available for merchants in the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, the UK, Ireland, France and Spain
• The currency used in your Payhip account must match the currency in your Square account

Setup

To setup Square on your Payhip account, please take the following steps:

Visit your payment gateways settings page

Click on the  Connect button listed next to the Square option

The next page will ask for your  Application ID and Access Token. To find this information please take the following steps on your Square account:

1) Login to your Square account

2) Visit your Developer Console page and click on the big "+" button

3) You'll then be asked to name your application

4) Afterwards when the application has been created click on the Open button

5) On the following page you should click on the Production tab

6) Finally you can copy the Application ID and the Access Token

After you've submitted the above on your Payhip account you'll be shown that Square was successfully connected
