The Video Subscription feature lets you upload and stream video content directly to your customers through your Payhip store. We’ve partnered with Cloudflare Stream to seamlessly provide secure and reliable video hosting built right into the platform.
How much does the video subscription cost?
The video subscription costs $5 USD per month, which includes 16 hours of video storage.
If you’re looking for an alternative, please know that you can also embed videos from platforms like YouTube or Vimeo into your course lessons or membership posts for free.

What data is shown in my Video Analytics?
Your Video Analytics give insight into how much content has been watched. The includes:
- Views by both you and your customers
- Video stats for your provided video & date filters
- Videos Breakdown (the total number of minutes watched per video).
Please note that video analytics are updated daily and are not shown in real time.

What does the 16-hour limit mean?
This refers to the total amount of video content you can upload across your courses and membership products. You can upload up to 16 hours of video under the monthly plan.
What if I need more than 16 hours of storage?
We offer upgrades in 16-hour increments. For example, the next tier provides 32 hours of storage for an additional $10 per month.
Can I pay annually or in a different currency?
Currently, monthly billing in USD is the only available option.
Can I use the video storage for other products?
Unfortunately, video storage is currently limited to course and membership products only.
What formats and quality levels are supported?
Cloudflare automatically selects the best bitrate, resolution, and codec for your viewer’s device and connection speed. Videos are streamed using:
What frame rates (FPS) are supported?
Cloudflare Stream supports any frame rate. Videos are re-encoded for up to 70 FPS playback, but if your video’s original frame rate is lower, it will be preserved. For videos with variable frame rates, Cloudflare may drop excess frames to maintain smooth playback quality.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Please note that once your video subscription has been canceled, your videos will be scheduled for deletion within the next 3 days.
