Bulk Editing

Introduction

If you have a lot of products in your store then it might become unmanageable to edit the prices for your products individually.

The bulk editor allows you to edit your prices for multiple products in a quick and easy way.

Where do I find the bulk editor?

Please visit your Products page and then click on the More dropdown.

Next you'll see a  Bulk Editor link you can click on.

How does bulk editing work?

When you visit your bulk editor page you'll see the below page

You'll notice that there are two types of categories that you can edit with the bulk editor

  • Editing the prices of multiple products
  • Editing the mailing lists of multiple products

It's pretty easy to understand how editing mailing lists works so let's focus on bulk editing prices.

To set the scenario, let's assume we have 3 products in our store:

  • Product A has a price of $2
  • Product B has a price of $4
  • Product C has a price of $6+ (a pay-what-you-want price)

You'll notice that you have 3 price type options to choose from:

  • Set new amount
  • Increase by amount
  • Decrease by amount

If you use the  Set new amount type and provide a price of "$3" then Products A, B and C will all have a price of "$3"

If you use the  Increase by amount type and provide a price of "$3" then Product A will have a price of $5, Product B will have a price of $7 and Product C will have a price of $9+

If you use the Decrease by amount type and provide a price of "$3" then Product A will have a price of $0, Product B will have a price of $1 and Product C will have a price of $3+

Notes

Bulk editing prices will only apply to digital and physical products.

Bulk editing prices cannot be applied on products with variants.
