Payhip is an eCommerce platform with over 130,000 sellers onboard. Many of our sellers offer affiliate programs where they offer a percentage commission when a successful sale is generated through individuals who become their affiliates.

What is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a fee or a percentage of the total money received by promoting a seller's product. When a buyer successfully completes a purchase, the affiliate is entitled to receive a commission for the sale generated.

How does affiliate marketing work?

Any sales generated by your audience after you promote the products are tracked and attributed to you via your unique product links.

The slug “123456789” represents the affiliate key. This is automatically generated and assigned by Payhip to each affiliate that a Payhip seller partners with. As an affiliate, you can identify and keep track of the views and orders that you produce through marketing.

What is the cookie duration of the affiliate links?

The cookie duration is 30 days and commissions are attributed to the last touchpoint where a lead has converted from.

How do I sign up and become an affiliate?

It's completely free to sign up and join a seller's affiliate program. To become one, the seller will need to give you a unique affiliate signup code. It will look something like the one below:

Once you have been approved as an affiliate, you can start referring customers and earn commissions for each sale you deliver. 

How do I receive payouts as an affiliate?

At this point in time, Payhip does not automatically process payouts for affiliates. The sellers handle the payments to affiliates themselves. We make this process easier for them though. We provide monthly affiliate sales reports that include the PayPal email of the affiliate and the commission they earned for each month. 

If you have any questions regarding your payout, please contact the seller about it directly. You can send them an email or leave them a message through their contact form.

Once you have been approved as an affiliate, you can start promoting products or services using the unique affiliate links generated. With each sale made from your link, you will be receiving a commission which depends on the conditions set by the seller's affiliate program.

How do I log in to my affiliate account?

To access your affiliate account, visit Payhip and click the Login button in the upper right corner of the page. Enter your email address and password to log in. Once you've successfully done so, you should be redirected to your affiliate dashboard. 

In the event you forgot your password, no worries - simply click here to reset it.

If you also want to start selling your own digital products and services on Payhip, please note that you will need to use a different or unique email address when registering for a seller account.

Where can I find my affiliate links? 

Go to your affiliate dashboard and click the Affiliate Links button. This will open up a modal that shows your affiliate link for each product made available to you by the seller. You can simply grab the links by copying them or clicking the share buttons for Facebook and Twitter.

How do I track my affiliate sales?

It's quite easy to track your sales via your affiliate dashboard. For each product that you’re promoting, you can see the number of views and sales generated. You can also see the full breakdown of the transactions by clicking on the “View Sales” link.

How do I update my payment details?

You need to enter your payment details to start receiving payments. In your affiliate dashboard, click Settings to edit your account details. You can then type in your PayPal email and save your changes.
