Add Payhip to Wix
Integrating your Payhip store with your Wix website is a great way to sell digital products seamlessly. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps for three different integration methods:
Add Store Link to Wix
This method lets you add a direct link to your Payhip store on your Wix site.
To do this, log in to your Wix account and open the Wix Website Editor. Depending on your store's theme or design, you will have to find a specific element that you want to convert into a link. In this example, we will be inserting the store link into the navigation menu.
Select the "Manage menu" option and locate the chain link symbol, as pointed out in the screenshot below. Choose "Web Address" as the link type, where you can input your Payhip store URL (e.g., https://payhip.com/yourstorename) into the URL field. Don't forget to click "Done" to complete the process.
Here's how it will look in your navigation menu. Clicking the "Shop" link should take visitors to your Payhip store.
Add Product Link to Wix
This method lets you add direct links to specific products within your Payhip store from your Wix website.
If you want to add a link to your Wix site directly to a product on Payhip, you would need to obtain the correct URL. To do that, you'll want to click on Products at the top of your Payhip dashboard, find the product you would like to promote, and select the "Share / Embed" button.
This will take you to a modal showing your product URL, which you can copy and paste into your Wix site wherever needed.
Once you have the product link, there are different ways for you to add it within Wix.
You could hyperlink an image or manually create a button directing your visitors to Payhip's product page. It's ultimately up to you how you want to insert product links within Wix, but you need to use the "Add Elements" feature of Wix to accomplish this.
Embed a Button on Wix
This method lets you embed a Payhip button on your Wix page, redirecting your customers to a checkout page.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to embed Payhip's cart system on your Wix site. This is because they create an iFrame (e.g., they put everything into a box). However, you can still embed Payhip's checkout button, allowing your customers to purchase directly without leaving the site.
To start, click "Products" at the top of your Payhip dashboard, find the product you want to promote, and select the “Share / Embed" button. After this, go to the "Embed Button" tab of the modal that appears. This will allow you to preview and customize your button (its text, color, and type).
There are two types of buttons that you can create. Please select the "Direct Purchase" option, as the Add to Cart buttons won't work with Wix.
Once you are done creating your button, click the "Get Your Embed Code," which should give you two snippets of code. The first snippet is Javascript, and the second is HTML.
Next, you'll want to log into your Wix website and go to your Editor. Once there, go to the taskbar, specifically on the left-hand side of the screen, and click "Add Elements."
Select the "Embed Code" option from the list, followed by "Embed HTML."
A modal called "HTML settings" will appear, prompting you to specify your desired additions. Choose "Code" to enter both code snippets provided by Payhip.
Once done, click the "Publish" button to save your changes before viewing your site. You should now see your button embedded there.
Feel free to test out the button. If it's working, you'll see a modal pop up with the checkout page for your product.
