Find Your Downloads

If you need to locate a downloaded file, the steps may vary slightly depending on your device. A good first step is to note the file name, which you can find on your download page or in your email receipt.

In this article, we'll walk you through how to find your downloaded files on different devices.

Find your downloads on MacOS

Most downloaded files are saved in the Downloads folder by default. Open Finder, then click on Downloads in the sidebar or check Recents

You can also use the search bar in the top right to enter the file name and locate it. If the file is on your device, it should appear in the results.

Find your downloads on Windows

On Windows, downloads are typically saved in the Downloads folder.

Open File Explorer, then click on Downloads in the sidebar. You can use the search bar in the top right to type the file name and locate it. You should then see your file in the results.

Find your downloads on Android

On Android devices, downloads can be accessed through your browser or file manager.

Open your Files or My Files app (the name may vary depending on your device), then tap on Downloads. You can use the search function or scroll through the list to locate your file. You can also check your mobile browser's download history if you downloaded the file recently.

Find your downloads on iOS

If you download a file onto your iPhone or iPad, you can usually find it in the Downloads folder within the Files app.

Open the Files app (you can search for it if you don't see it on your Home Screen), then tap Browse, go to iCloud Drive or On My iPhone/iPad, and open the Downloads folder to view your files.

If you recently downloaded a file using Safari, you can also tap the Downloads button next to the search bar in Safari to quickly access your downloaded files.
