Shipping

Before you can sell physical products on your Payhip store, you’ll need to set up your shipping details.

To do that, click on “Account” in the top right corner of the screen, followed by “Settings”. Once you’re on the “Settings” page, select the “Shipping” tab.

The first thing you’ll need to add is the address that you’ll be shipping from. Click on “Add Address” and then enter your address details in the modal that appears before hitting “Save”.

Next, you’ll need to add your shipping regions and the rates for each region. Click “Add New Shipping Region”, select which country you’ll be shipping to, and then click the “Continue” button.

You’ll then be given four options for how you want to charge for shipping.

What these mean:

Flat rate – charge a single shipping rate regardless of weight or order total. You can also choose whether the rate is charged per order or per item.

Free shipping – provide free shipping for orders that meet a minimum weight or total.

Order weight – charge different shipping rates based on the weight of the order. Be sure to add a fallback rate in case there’s an order that doesn’t meet any of the conditions that you’ve set up.

Order total – charge different shipping rates based on the total price of the order. Again, be sure to add a fallback rate in case there’s an order that doesn’t meet any of the conditions that you’ve set up.

You can add multiple types of shipping if you need to. To add any other regions that you ship to, click “Add New Shipping Region”.

Key note

If you don’t have shipping set up for the country that the customer is in they’ll see this message: “Apologies but [Country] is not available for shipping”.
